Damn, Hearn taking over the US!! I think he's actually what US boxing needs. No more excuses, especially in HW. Wait for some entertaining fights within the next years.

 

Eddie Hearn is need to get the other promoters out of their comfort zone. This may press the other promoters to put on better fights and give their fighters better money or else they could go to Eddie Hearn

 

Hearn is a great promoter. Boxing needs someone like him in the US

Yes it has finally arrived, the Matchroom USA press conference! Finally a boxing promoter in the US who actually promotes boxing and boxers. Eddie Hearn will be the best promoter in the US within 3 years or less, and I believe will actaully bring his fighters here and himself some mainstream popularity.

 

Luis Arias was so cringe in parts I had to take the headphones out lol.

 

I hope fast Eddie doesnt get too ambitious too quickly, we dont want him found swimming with some fishes in a Vegas canal. Infact skrap that, he should go get Canelo and Wilder in the promise he will turn them back in to men.

 

Will never happen,Warren will not be able to work with Matchroom,think about egos,politics,and surrender to Hearn who has the better fighter.Saunders will hold that belt until he is financially secure,before facing a top fighter where he will get outclassed.Jacobs is still with Al Haymon,what is the point,it just means more money from his cut is going to people.What is Haymon even doing in this fight to get a share of the money.Jacobs isnt really a Sky Sports fighter,i doubt they will hype up him up too much,that's HBO's job,as he's under their banner.

 

Being successful in the UK doesn't mean he'll automatically be successful in the US. Americans aren't getting behind their fighters like the British are and Hearn isn't going to change that.
If Crawford was British he'd be a PPV superstar. In America he's a nobody.

 

I fully agree,simple as that.Just imagine if Mayweather was British,he'd have a whole frickin statue devoted to him,Americans have too many quality fighters and different array of sport superstars to choose who/what they wanna support,The Uk is much more limited,we are deprived of world class talent in most sports.Again if Hearn is really serious about conquering the States,i'd say he needs Crawford and Spence who both have decent followings and are Superstars in the making,but it wont happen too many things to overcome.
