A great comeback story considering his health and he was always classy

You are a miracle man. No matter how much pain you suffered you defied thee odds beating bone cancer one punch at a time. He brought his son every where, a great parent and role model and a good human being! Your story is an inspiring one and I will never forget the ishe smith fight... Respect to the Miracle Man. His story is such an inspiration and he managed to have a good career in boxing even after dealing with his own personal battles. Enjoy retirement, Champ.

 

He was one of my favourite prospects at the start - famous for the golden gloves battles he made a good name for himself. Missed out the 2008 Olympic team losing to Shawn Estrada but beat Porter and Wade along the way. Jacobs went Pro straight away and hit the Pros hard. On all the big undercards. Looked at as a top prospect until the loss to Dimitry Pirog. Not long before a cancer diagnosis. He's had a good career with solid opponents but I most remember the early stages.

 

Am I the only one who thought that he had potential to be elite
