I agree that Gennady is way past prime, but a way past prime Gennady is still enough to destroy Danny. However, if Danny wins, it's because Gennady got old overnight.

Note: Don't get mad at ME because this is Jacobs saying it and I AGREE with him.

I think that he might be right. Although I think if GGG and his camp believed that he was old, GGG wouldn't be asking for more money for the Canelo fight.

lol Jacobs is admitting to ducking.
Getting destroyed by an old past prime Golovkin will be embarrassing.

Jacobs can't win, Pirog/Golovkin would be a better fight by a mile.

It actually turned out for the better because Golovkin would have ruined Pirog. Ishida absorbed 12 rounds of bombs from Pirog, so he wasn't ever going to KO Golovkin.

Nah. Pirog showed really good fundamental boxing skills and ability, but nothing that screamed Future Ruler of the Division. TBF, Pirog was just beginning to gain traction, so we never really got to see the real him.

I concur. A win, ANY win over Ggg would be considered an upset, but I think it also depends how Jacobs wins. Ggg's knee giving out ala Maravilla Martinez, well, you still gotta give some credit to Jacobs for taking on a fighter everybody's afraid of. Not full credit tho.

GGG is in full beast mode. He won't get old in the ring and will not quit. Jacobs will be facing the most prepared GGG that any fighter has faced since his debut in America. The only thing I hope is that Jacobs has equally prepared himself to meet the challenge. If GGG is ready to die then Jacobs should be ready to kill him because I know that he is ready to take Jacobs out.
