I see this going two ways. Jacobs overpowers Minter and stops him on cuts or Minter outboxes Jacobs to a comfortable decision. I think the first one is much more likely. Thoughts?

Jacobs could land on GGG so he could land on Minter who didn`t have GGG`s head movement, Jacobs would also hit Minter far more than he hit Canelo because Canelo has a better defense than Minter had and uses a high guard now, Jacobs would be too big for Minter and would stop him like Sibson did.

Jacobs is a light heavyweight. He's just able to cut weight effectively, thanks to his weigh-ins taking place 30 hours before the fight.

I'm not big on comparing fighters from eras when they weighed in the day of the fight - often only hours before -- with fighters who have nearly two days to rehydrate.

It's not really comparing apples to apples.

I really enjoy Alan Mintors fights. Don't know why. I thought. Jacobs beat both GGG and Canelo. Good fight here. Jacobs is no middleweight though, so unfair matchup.

Agree 100%. You really haven't seen any of the fighters the last 25 or so yrs fight at the weight listed on fight day. Except Mayweather. And he stayed in shape.

This is a valid point. Today's MW is bigger than in Minter's day.

Even the same size, I think Jacobs gives him all he can handle. But at the actual sizes, I'd put money on DJ winning.
