It might have been a bad night, but Rosado also boxed his ears off at times. There were moments where Jacobs showed some urgency and Rosado just shut him down.
In round 8, from the 2:10 mark to 1:40, Jacobs throws about some 20 shots, few of them probing, and he doesn´t land a single one besides maybe that one jab to the body.
Weigh can´t be the excuse here. And being out of shape can´t be either, as the fight was fought at an extremely slow pace.
You could say that Jacob´s wasnt at his very best, but that´s such a weak excuse.
Maybe it was similar to Chavez Jr. vs Vera. Jr. got a lucky gift the first night but got the clear W in the rematch.
    Maybe.

But this was Rosado´s night. Jacob´s is still Jacobs. He always fights like this.

 Poor ****ing Indongo. I feel so bad for him. He is a decent boxer and actually unified two belts, but he is getting absolutely destroyed fight after fight.
You can´t even say that he is shot. He just can´t take a shot.

    Majidov looks damn solid.
Too bad that Delgado barely did anything at all. Whatever his gamplan was, it went out of the window at the end of round one.

I actually would like to see more of Delgado. He is fat as **** but boy does he carry that weight well. Hard to believe that he is actually 290lbs.
He moved around the ring so effortlessly. And the few punches the did throw were crisp and fluid.

Majidov reminds me of Kovalev a bit. The way he throws that right hand gave me some nice flashbacks. And his punches make a similar sound.

    Man, I love Ababiy!
He looks like he is the one being brought in to pad the other guys record.
    And that damn haircut. :love::lol:

Looks like Ababiy is actually learning and improving. His defense is definitely a bit better than it was some fights ago. Still way too wild with his offense tho.
A work in progress, but I don´t expect much from him. Well, not right now at least.
But I like fights they are getting him. The kid is having to work for his wins and it´s a good thing.

Is this Rosado's first fight w/ Roach? He looked very composed, stuck to the game plan, and actually boxed beautifully.

Had it 8-4 at worst for Rosado.

Hindsight is a great thing, i make my predictions before the fight starts unlike some balless posters who claim they got it right after the fight. How farfetched is it that rosado would take another beating? Jacobs on his day would give Rosado a huge beating, rosados face in a constant state of inflammation when he fights.

Huge event win for a prime GGG last night

GGG beat the soul out of Rosado's body and turned his face in gore flick

Way past prime GGG edged a prime 180lb + Jacobs and was robbed x 2 against a juiced to high heaven Hulknelo

Badly weight drained cadaver Jacobs lost a razor-close decision to Hulknelo aka the post-clean juiced to high heaven Clenelo

    Rosado was robbed against Jacobs

Rosado, Clenelo and Jacobs are roughly about the same level as each other but levels below a prime GGG

    The scientific method has spoken

I dont agree with people calling this a robbery I dont think Rosado landed a clean shot in the fight.

but Jacobs stank. David Lemiuix destroyed Rosado easily and Jacobs looked like crap.

Each fight is different. If you dont know that youre a ****ing idiot.. Instead of worrying about how much Liponthewood you can dish out, focus on boxing a little more mate.

Pre-fight, for sure they do that. It’s very rare if they believe someone is “clearly losing” as is indicated here they will have that guy as almost a 1-3 favorite in the 12th rd. All I have said was the fight was not a robbery. It just gets silly to read that all the time. We get robberies every week and they’re not hard to identify. Rosado threw 200 more punches than Jacobs but landed the same number. Rosado did give the illusion to some of winning bc he was busier. I get it. But what’s landing? And what’s clean? Jacobs sucked in this fight. Hell he may have even lost. I would’ve been fine with either guy getting their hand raised. A draw was probably most appropriate. We just need to chill with the robbery stuff. That’s pure emotion.

Also, Rosado may have gotten his hand raised had he fought with more urgency in the 12th. That round decided the fight. A man in his position needs to empty it in the last round, just to be sure. For some reason he didn’t do that.

Alfredo Angulo completely destroyed Gabriel Rosado in devastating fashion, mopped the entire ring with him and did it five rounds faster than Golovkin.

Canelo won every round, every minute and just about every second of his fight against Angulo.

Golovkin went life and death against Jacobs, and arguably lost.

    Canelo clearly beat Jacobs.

Canelo's first real MW opponent was Golovkin. Essentially Canelo was making his debut at the full MW limit. No acclimating, no warm up fight against a top 10 MW, went straight for the champ and got a draw. In the rematch, and in his second fight at the full MW limit, being a little more acclimatized to 160 lbs, he beat up the naturally bigger Golovkin.
