    I have good faith in Jacobs, he can polish his performances here and he'll be ok. He needs to learn from this. He still beat him good.

    Daniel has good charisma and very marketable.

    Very true and I'm happy Jacobs is fit and well and it is a great story but that is besides the point.

    Fact is Jacobs was not very impressive.

    bouadla didn't look in great shape around the middle. chudinov slugged him around but he doesn't look like elite potential to me. danny jacobs level maybe.

    Good to know Quillin can get another title shot if Korobov takes his WBO belt.
    That WBA belt leads to a monster that Quillin doesn't want any part of though.

    I hate when 10-rounders with nothing at stake get top billing over world title bouts.

    Case in point, Garcia vs. Salka being the main event tonight - or Rios vs. Chaves being the main event on HBO last week.

    I know, I know - Garcia and Rios are the "names" and guys selling tickets, but if they don't have a belt they shouldn't be headlining over world title bouts, sorry. I know the alphabet soup org situation bothers people but as diluted as it may be, titles should mean something and it only undermines them and dilutes their meaning even more to have a measly 10-rounder with nothing on the line outranking them and topping a bill over them.
