I'd of let Jacobs drop him, but don't have a problem with the stoppage after seeing it a few times. Quillen was in a trance, and on jelly legs.

Why does Mauro have to shout all the time?

I don't think so. Vargas was never as out as Quillin was. Actually Miura was as out as Quillin was and it took about 30 seconds for the ref to stop the fight as well.

Good stoppage, ref saved him from serious damage. He sounded like he still wasn't there in the post interview.

If? Jacobs would have. What's the point of allowing it to continue for another 30 seconds when we knew Quillin had 0 capability to defend himself.

Dock still should have allowed Quillin a chance. Miura was as badly hurt in the first round as Quillin was. It was far too soon.:bart

Nah, horrible stoppage. Surprised really, expected this result but the other way honestly.... but you can't stop that **** right there.

Also, can we stopped with the exposed bull****... it's a sport.. someone loses someone wins... we don't say the Cavs are exposed every time they lose.

So how many more shots would you have allowed to land before stopping it?

Did you even watch the whole fight? Miura was out in the 1st round, FAR worse than Quillin, imo that fight had a great case to be stopped right after the right hook Vargas landed. Guess what Miura recovered, Vargas gassed a little and Miura made a comeback, he was winning the fight before he was stopped.

Let's be honest though, Quillin was never going to beat GGG

With that said, he was off in that post fight interview, like he looked and sounded really bad, tripping on his words, monotone, his brain took a serious pounding by the look and sound of it

Maybe it should've been allowed to go on to really give the fight closure, but PQ sure as hell didn't complain, and when asked about the rematch he deflected big time

I've seen many fighters come back after being hurt far worse and win.

I thought the Miura/Vargas fight should have been stopped in the 1st imo.
