It looked like Quillen was about to fall face first to the canvas. I think the ref thought Quillen was going down, so when he turned back around and saw him stumbling around, he was a bit confused, and pulled the plug.

 

Miura took a MASSIVE right hook, the guy really should have took a knee, imo he might have won the fight if he did, and before he got stopped in the 10th too, also should have took a knee, instaed of letting Vargas punmmel him. He took way too much damage early, and ended up using all his stamina trying to get Vargas out, imo it was a good stoppage.

 

That was a horrendous stoppage no matter how you slice it and the only people i can imagine saying it wasn't is the PC generation who listen to drake and do everything in moderation, who i would suggest take up a different sport to follow like Basketball

Yeah, I've watched it twice. Quillin had 1:30 SECONDS LEFT IN THE ROUND, WAS GONE, AND JACOBS WASNT LETTING UP.

He'd of been KO'd. I thought it was a bit soon, but seeing it from different angles, I don't have a problem with the ref stopping it when he did. Quillen was glassy eyed. Jacobs was swinging for the fences, the ref did Quillen a favor by stopping it. Sure some people would have liked to see Quillen's head knocked into the fifth row, but this wasn't a bad stoppage. Calzaghe's stoppage of Manfredo Jr., now that was the definition of a bad stoppage.

 

Surprised as hell...but good stoppage. Jacobs lit him up. It happens...

I dont know how much time left Miura had in the round, but it was pretty long, and Vargas continued to pummel him too, he wasnt "letting up", guess what Miura survived that and he was hurt more imo. Stop screaming at me with caps please.
