However I do think Danny will be more circumspect, he spars with Sergiy quite a bit and ought to know how to keep him off. Also I rate Sulecki very highly, he's got everything, just doesn't have the power - so I wasn't surprised to see Danny struggle there.

 

This will be at the MSG theater. Billy Joel will be in the main Arena that night.

 

This will be interesting as these guys know each other well almost like Spence/Charlo.. This has to be hard for Rozier because essentially he knows Derevchenko’s weaknesses and pretty much have to sort of expose them to their MWs for future fights. Ifs DJ wins how does Derev go back to Rozier knowing that he trained someone to beat him

 

This is complete bull****. Derevyanchenko is not a perfect boxer but he has a strong chin.

 

I'm still quite apprehensive about Jacobs walking away from this fight.

 

Jacobs has surprised me, After the GGG fight I didn't think he could stay at 160. He has shown great discipline, I favor him to win

 

theyre professionals, mate, so feelings shouldnt get in their way. My main concern is how well both of them will be prepared for the fight.

That is always a gamble when you have two guys at this level but it still makes it difficult
I too feel he will be in the corner of Danny.
This will be a real test for Danny as Derevyanchenko packs a punch and Danny was caught cold once

 

Danny can be goated into mixing it up at close range and Derevyanchenko is the guy that will pull you in closer and sit your aze down.

Derevyanchenko is rather not a power puncher. He's more like a volume puncher. But he's very well conditioned, stubborn and tough.

I’m shocked by the fact that no one has mentioned Sulecki and GGG have a stronger long range game when compared to Derevy. The challenge for Jacobs is to keep Derevy from closing the distance without eating too much leather. Put aside the fandom for minute and analyze the match up boys. That damn Florida sunshine man....wait did Trump just sign the emancipation proclamation!

 

If anything I judging from derevychenko he will be very aggressive. Derevychenko will use his foot work and combinations aggressively . Danny will try to use his size and range to outpoint the shorter stockier derevychenko this. This fight can go either way. Danny could probably stop derevyanchenko late or by points. But I don't see derevyanchenko winning on points only by ko. Out of the two fighters . We know Derevyanchenko will be looking to land the ko

 

Derevyanchenko will be looking to close the gap and that is where he has a dan good chance of putting some serious hurt on Jacobs
He has great footwork and work rate that trouble guys who throw one -two here and there and that is what he will reduce Jacobs into unless Danny can keep him at bay with jabs and move away for the majority of rounds
