Can we begin to make career projections for Daniel Jacobs?

    We know this:

1.) He is 13-0 against poor fighters.
2.) Despite the poor fighters he has beaten, Jacobs has undeniable, thunderous power.
3.) He fought 12 fights in 2008 and looked focused and in-shape for all of them, despite the low level of competition.

Right now Jacobs is fighting at 165, but does anyone think this 21 year-old will eventually move up to 175 as he naturally grows?

What is Daniel Jacobs in 5 years: bone-crushing beast or flop??

I think he stays at Super Middleweight for most of his career and might move up to Light Heavy to fight someone for big money. With that said, I think he is the real deal and will get a shot at a title in two years time maybe sooner if he steps it up.

I hope you are right about Jacobs staying at 165. I think his power will be even more pronounced at 165.

I like him a lot and he'll saty at 168. That's going to be the hub of American boxing imo.

When are they planning to step him up? He's clearly on the fast-track with how busy he's been.

Something about Daniel Jacobs ears tell me that he'll go somewhere, but not a champion......

Just like I predicted about that cuban with the receding hairline that went pro with solis and gamboa...

I have some fears about Jacobs. My concerns are as follow. I think he overly commits too early. this leaves him open for good counter punchers and also he seems to blow out of steam, stamina issues.

Mostly, I am worried about him only relying on his power. This might be good coming up and fighting cans and regional fighters, but at the elite level your power is much less of a factor due to the guys level of defense and toughness.

I hope we dont have another Lacy on our hands.
