The fight is scheduled for June 10th in Argentina of all places. Pretty weird choice, since both guys have fought Mexico for their last couple of bouts. Good crossroads fight for Matellon and Canizales. The winner of this presumably will be the mandatory for Kenshiro's WBA light flyweight belt.
It is the WBA Fedecaribe light flyweight champ against the WBA Fedecentro light flyweight champ. Too bad neither title is on the line!! Kidding about that but this should be a good fight. Former world champ Canizales has power and will be a good gauge for the 35 year old Cuban. I saw the Matellon - Argumedo fight and Matellon performed well in his first big test. Hopefully, I can find a way to watch this one.
