After seeing Ponce de Leon fight tonight, and Caballero last week, who do you think would win if they fought each other next?

...and how would Steve Molitor do against both fighters?

I just think that Caballero has his number. For lesser champs and most contenders Caballero is a hell of a hard fighter to deal with, I think its only the elite that find him out.

but itse been awhile since i saw that fight, Im going to rewatch it again and see if Deleon is that much improved, i still think Caballero schools him.

Its well within the realm of possibilty that Molitor can outbox De leon but I would lean towards Dan at this stage.
    I reckon Caballero beats him.

NB Is "the realm of possibility" grammatically correct????

It's been two years since they first fought and Ponce has improved in my eyes. I would love to see a rematch. I think he can beat Caballero this time.

Caballero already whooped his ass. When he kept him outside with the jab he dominated, and when he mixed it up, he was still getting the better of most exchanges. Yes, Caballeo looked worse in his last6 fight, but I think that's mostly because he didn't take the opponent seriously. The first fight between those two was such a blowout that a rematch would be pointless.

Has De Leon improved that much? I keep reading people thought Penalosa beat him in his previous, and that it was a robbery. Tonight De Leon had a great 1 round Ko, but I dont think anyone ever doubted he can punch. The fight was to short even evaluate his boxing skills. I dont think Brewster greatly improved his boxing skills when he ko'd Golota in 1 round for example. Then Brewster lost his next fight.

De Leon is one of those fighters who succeeds not with technical skill advantages, but by utilizing a huge size advantage wih right hand power....With Caballero, hes taller and has longer reach along with a technical advantage. I dont see De Leon ever beating him honestly.
