Ponce de Leon is really intensifying his attack. Right jab, left hand, left hand, right hook, whipping left!! Lazcano just keeps shuffling around, absorbing punishment. He doesn't seem to want to win anymore, and he isn't liking those bombs. He should really just take a knee or spit out his gum shield to get disqualified if he wants out. Walking around getting punched in the face without throwing back and without his meager turtle shell doing much to keep the punches out isn't benefiting him or the fans who paid to see action. Ponce de Leon is toying with him now, landing several right jabs while circling and then switching to lead lefts. Lazcano shuffles in place, and loads up a left hand - easily caught on the gloves by Ponce de Leon. More flurrying by Ponce de Leon at the bell.

Round 9

Lefts to the body by Ponce de Leon. Lazcano circles up against the ropes, and is caught squared up with a BIG left hand to the face. Lead lefts and right upper-hooks delivered off bent lead knee by Ponce de Leon. He's just hammering Lazcano at a steady clip now, not rushing his work but not relenting either. Right hooks and jabs. Straight lefts and overhands. Lazcano is getting hit with everything. Ponce de Leon slaps his guard down any time Lazcano puts it up. Weak right jab to the body by Lazcano. Three uppercuts to the body by Ponce de Leon. Two hard quick lefts to the face by Ponce de Leon. Left to the navel, right hook to the hip by Ponce de Leon. Lazcano dives in against him, trying to grind his shoulder into Ponce de Leon's chest, and slaps out a right to Ponce de Leon's side. Not enough. Nowhere near enough.

Round 10

Ponce de Leon leans forward with a left hand lead to the body, then seesaws his upper body skyward again with a right hook. Double right hook by Ponce de Leon. Lazcano tries to make a feeble argument by dropping a right jab/hook hybrid to the body. A few of them. Ponce de Leon dances around him and lands jabs to the face and whipping overhand lefts to the top of the head at will. 1-2 to the face by Ponce de Leon. Quick right jab. Left to the guard, and slapping right hook around the gloves by Ponce de Leon. Lazcano circles left, blocking jabs, and tries to dive in with another right hooky jab to the body. Ponce de Leon slams him back across the ring with a straight 1-2, then a jab and a whipping left over the top.
