I suppose his eye injury wasn't so bad  ( even though having a part of your ****ing skull broke is serious ****).

Even weirder is that Dubois is getting a shot for an interim belt and possible title shot against Bryan when his conqueror Joyce is sitting on the shelf.

Dubois doesn't look as cut up there as usual. A little flab if anything. Not sure if that's a good or bad sign at this stage. We'll see.

He looks better without being quite so muscle bound in my view. Maybe he'll be a little looser, move better?

I'm thinking the same myself, you need a little fat to burn for some energy in a fight. It's taxing to lug around huge muscles with nothing to supplement them. The only thing is it might mean he didn't train as hard and is becoming a but dispirited, which I hope not.

    This is a good fight.

Dinu is the calibre of opponent Dubois should have fought last year instead of Joyce.

I'd be interested to know the actual science behind it but its really surprising watching fat ****s like Fury and Ruiz looking like they could box at a high pace for days while shredded guys like Joshua and Wilder start wilting when the tempo is high.

Dinu was also career high 260 pounds (he was 237-239 against Miller and Pulev). Depending on the narrative he's either been lazy or "showed up with extra power".

There's a likelihood that there's something to it. After all when your body has used up all the energy from food it goes on to burn the energy stored in your fat reserves.
