Daniel Raphael Dubois vs. Filip Hrgović

Dubois has been through one trial after another. Hrgovic hasn´t done **** in years, not to mention that he has barely been pushed at all as a pro. The amount of competitive fights in his pro career can be counted on two fingers.

After the 3rd round, Hrgovic´s defense morphs into: "rise guard, take a quick step back". And he doesn´t really throw anything from this position. He waits for the action to stop and then he resets himself and looks to engage once he is in punching range.
Dubois is going to punish his body. But in return I expect Hrgovic to land some wicked uppercuts and looping right hands.

It´s going to be a banger of a fight and Dubois is going to whoop his ass. Lack of headmovement, one dimensional defense and **** poor stamina will get Hrgovic knocked out.

 

Dubois won’t have the heart to take those crafty rabbit punches for 12 rounds

Filip destroy Daniel. As I said before. Daniel show good performance in Miller fight. He clean little his "quiter" fame but its easier to show up good vs fat, slow pig who try fight excacly same as he fight when got 10 steroids in him.

Filip is Young, full health, bigger, puncher who got probably top 3 chin in today Hw. He also is good technic.
Filip represent all what Joyce represent but 20% better.
Dont see Daniel can survive this.

It will be probably straight punches festival from Croatian and end after 6 round.

 

Hrgovic should have too much for Dubois .

 

I reckon Dubois will outbox Hrgović and take the decision (116-112).

 

No way. Filip can be very active dude actually. He threw 705 punches vs Zhang when he got few critical moments.
He will punch more than Dubois and thoose punches will heart Daniel.

I only see Dubois chances in some perfect shot on head which wobbled and heart Filip enough to go for finish. Filip defence is not best and Daniel punching power is pretty good. But still I think Zhang punching power is even bigger and Filip survive.

Daniel is just too soft for someone like Filip.
He should first go fight with Kubrat Pulev. Pretty similar style with straight punches but older, smaller and less power. That will be good fight and good victory.
Filip is all bad for him imo.

 

Hrgy Bear should stop Dubois. I know Dubois is limited, has quit before, his double D nickname is/was lame and is getting way too many opportunities other would kill for, but he has no issues fighting anybody and I respect it.

Also Hrgy has a problem he never fixed, his head movement (or lack there of) which may give DD his opportunity

 

I can see how Dubois gives less trouble to Hrgovic because Hrgovic has a habit of opening up, Dubois will definitely hit cleanly a few times, but Hrgovic takes him to deep waters and crushes him in the later rounds...

 

Dubois is not as bad as he's made out to be and Hrgovic is not as good as he's made out to be. This should be a good fight.

 

Hergovic by decision. We haven't seen him taken a top challenge after he almost lost to Zhang. That fight must have showed him he's not invincible and I predict he will fight more cautiously. Or

Dubois by stoppage. Confidence bar is full, he wasn't afraid of getting hit by the big baby dosser, he will attempt thesame approach with hergovic and will go for the kill if he can't get hergovic respect early on.
