You really hold 140 against him huh?

    I mean, I know 147.

    But 140? Come on.

    154. Oscar was clearly the best the division had to offer.

The fact that it was his 5th weight class was more than enough as well.

But still, why do you discredit him so much at 140?

    yo, DAVE_THENOTSOGREAT....

since is obvious you dont watch boxing, when floyd won the IBF, it was only cause carlos couldn't afford to pay the fee's when he beat zab.....so if you really count that, then your head is on crooked.....boxing politics suck and i know we can all agree on that....but again, the truth is the truth and zab was no real title holder when floyd beat him......

Because he's an irrational PBF hater who refuses to give PBF the benefit of doubt even though it was Ricky who turned down a fight back in 2005 at 140 thus not giving PBF a chance at the linear championship there.

    What are you talking about?

    That's Floyds fault.

It's also Floyds fault HBO and Showtime didn't do a joint broadcast when Floyd had never fought on PPV.

    All Floyds fault.

Floyd went after top guys in the division.

He did essential unify 147. But he vacated the IBF title and the WBA was stripped from Judah.

Although I feel you are discrediting him at 140 by saying he did nothing as if he choose not to do anything.

    bull****....

at 140 i remember clearly (and no i dont gotta look it up like most of you) that he himself said cotto was too green, and ricky wanted that fight, floyd talked **** and when all the talk calmed down, floyd swore up and down they had made hatton an offer.....hatton later came up to clear the water and said there was never an offer made to him....:deal :deal

and i dont doubt floyd, i know he's a badass fighter, but he aint great AT BEING A FIGHTER....
he never once tested himself after that castillo fight....and that to me aint no real chamion/fighter....he's a smart business man i'll give him that.......but his career has left many questions, which is the number 1 reason TO NOT CALL YOURSELF GREAT

Freddy, you could also say that Floyd would have been the WBC/WBA/IBF champ had Baldo been able to afford the sanctioning fees. Either way, he rightfully won that IBF belt

You sound like you actually think you are proving or making a point? He beat Judah first and last time I checked before he fought Baldomir, Baldomir had not yet lost a fight, so he did indeed unify the championship at WW and capture the linear title. I know that hurts but you have to live in reality.

The real question is, what is Margo doing to unify the titles? Thats right, he isn't doing a damn thing except ignoring the other champs in the division.

it doesn't matter who, what and where...the point is that he avoided the real threats.....floyd's timing at welterweight was ****en perfect...imagine him coming in now with margo, paul, clottey and berto :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl
he would probably drop back down to 130
