Considering Santos outweighed Margarito by 10 pounds, Antonio did a good job in seriously hurting his opponent. I tried to upload the .gif of it but no website is letting me upload it for some reason.

I think a lot of people on here who have came and said "Santos wins again" or "Santos was not hurt" obviously didn't watch their second fight. Margarito had a strong case for getting the decision, and it helped Santos being in his hometown.

I would make Margarito the favourite on neutral ground, mainly because Antonio has improved, and I thought he did enough in their second fight. Would be close and competitive though.

If the last fight was not in PR Margs walks away the winner
That being said Santos without a home town crowd will lose
He was holding the whole fight and still got rocked weighign a 170 lbs lol

Santos had every advantage and still needed luck

The fight took place in puerto rico,

The fight was stopped because of damage done by a Santos headbutt.

The fight went to the cards(did I mention that the fight took place in Puerto Rico).

Santos came out the winner, go figure!:deal

Are you suggesting it could have been a robbery?, that's completely stupid. This fight was close with Santos being ahead at the time of stoppage, Margarito was only shining at that point in the fight because Santos was getting tired as he did far better early. The headbutt was CLEARLY accidental, with Margarito rushing style stuff like that are very normal and when a serious accidental headbutt after the 4th round occurs the doctor checks it out and they go to the scorecards, pretty normal.

You're the first one that's hinting this fight is a robbery.

Of course, because everyone knows a boxer cannot possibly make weight ONE day longer.

There seems to be this myth that if fighters had to weigh in on fight night, they would automatically move up to the next division. If they can make the weight on Friday, what makes people think they cannot possibly make weight for one more day? :huh

I don't think anyone will criticize Margarito for moving up in weight to avenge his controversial loss against the PuertoRican WBA champ, know what i mean? Its a great fight with a nice story behind it.

As for cleaning out 147, Margo can move back down to 147 after. No doubt. But I also don't mind if he takes the Santos fight in 1 or 2 years, theres no rush.

in my pov, the top 5 fights for Margo are, in order

    1. PW
    2. Santos
    3. Cotto rematch
    4. Clottey
    5. Berto

How ironic, isn't that what Margarito had to do to get a shot at Mayweather?, a free shot without doing anything but yelling behind a microphone is nothing.

Santos is a guy who already BEAT Margarito and is offering him a chance to avenge a loss, it's not like Margarito didn't do this before, he did move up twice then back down. He can do it again if he cares to avenge a loss, which he should. Also, Santos doesn't need to do NOTHING to get a shot at Margarito, how much of a noob you really are exactly?, Santos already BEAT him, if anything it's Margarito who should be running behind Santos to avenge that loss. Lucky enough it's the other way around and Santos is showing some interest, is Margarito insterested?, doesn't look like it. He has 2 losses to avenge, let's see if he will do it.
