    This would be a tough fight for Cotto. Santos is a tall Welter/Super Welter with good skills, and a southpaw.

    This guy Santos would be a terrible fight for Cotto to take. He's bigger than Cotto and has a difficult awkward style. Just ask Margarito.
    Cotto would not have a strength advantage in this, and little would be gained in a win, and a lot lost in losing. Cotto has plenty of tough fights waiting at 147, and his ultimate goal is a shot at Mayweather.There is no outcry for this fight to take place, I'm not even sure if it would be a hot ticket even in Puerto Rico.
    If, for some incomprehensival reason this fight was signed Cotto could be upset. No one is looking for a fight with Santos, because he's a spoiler.

    Just a hypothertical scenario. It certainly would be a dumb business decision for Cotto. Too much risk for little money. Santos isn't a ticket seller anywhere.
