Very possible. If Williams caught as many lefts hands from Santos as he caught from Quintana in the first fight, I'm confident Paul would be on his back. Santos hits ALOT harder than Quintana.
Tough Call. Williams has a good chin, I don't expect to see him KO'd. Probably a close fight either way, I could see PW edging it based on what would be his still-huge physical advantages at 154, as well as workrate. He just can't come in underprepared and overconfident like he did against Quintana I.
Williams sat down on his punches in the 1st round of Quintana II with good results, but you're right, he usually doesnt.
Well true also not to mention he was at 170 when he fought Margarito. We all know he has heavier hands.
Paul's chin isnt unbreakable. I remember him getting stunned by a shot ass Sharmba Mitchell. If you think Santos cant put him down your mistaken. Santos is probably the biggest puncher from 147-154. The only one who arguably has more power at 147-154 is Cintron, but Santos punches faster than Kermit the frog.
I didn't say he probably couldn't KNOCK DOWN Williams-I said KNOCKOUT. There is a big difference there. I stand by what I said earlier, but I wouldn't be surprised if Santos scored a KD or Hurt Williams badly at some point.
I could also see Santos timing Williams with the left hand and possibly hurting him badly and/or getting a possible stoppage. If Santos can't hurt him, then Williams UD.
Yeah right Williams has a great chin . . . Santos will break that great chin and punish him to the body. No way William's punches can hurt Santos . . . but William's can't survive Santos' punches. Santos by stoppage. :deal
Santos by mid to late rounds stoppage. Williams puch output is his defence and i could see Santos timing hin and breaking him down gradually, plus Santos is a big man and Williams will be fighting a guy who he cant boss about. Plus Santos is very crafty and a southpaw. Williams would be wise to side step this if it ever comes about.
