    Round 1

Vujović getting backed up constantly, shying away from Ryan's jabs. Ryan hooking off of them occasionally, but mostly ignoring the headhunting and just pounding Vujović's body with loud thudding shots on the frontfoot.

    10-9 Ryan

    Round 2

Vujović is summoning up the courage to wing in her own low, bottom-of-the-lake-dragging hooks at the body with both hands, but Ryan able to raise her arms, tuck in her tummy and shimmy away from them all while getting in her own stuff. Vujović spicier in this round but Ryan, playing around with switch-hitting and having success as southpaw, outlanding her by a wide margin.

    10-9 Ryan

    20-18 Ryan

Scrappy third but Ryan finished it with a triplet of powerful left hooks up top, sending Vujović dropping into a ball to flee until the bell.

    30-27

Two powerful body shot knockdowns by Ryan in the second half of R4, and Vujović is left crumpled on all fours gasping from a vicious hook on the liver (passed expertly underneath Vujović's right arm), letting the count expire.

    KO4!!

Ryan passes her sophomore test with flying colors, now 2-0 (1).

She's honestly a better body puncher than quite a few male counterparts that are ranked and have a couple dozen more pro bouts..

Good attitude on Sandy. Didn't want to start off with 4-rounders in the pros, as she was already used to fighting three-rounders in the amateurs so didn't want a major regression and have it too easy in case she lost her sharpness.

Wants to squeeze in an 8-rounder by year's end and begs Eddie Hearn to find a spot for her on a December show.

Her countrywoman Chantelle Anna Cameron is the #1 rated super lightweight in both the UK and the world, currently with a WBC & IBF unification coming up against Mary Ann McGee the day before Halloween...domestic showdown for division supremacy could be a goal for maybe late 2022.

    Nice body shots by Sandy!
A bit of pushing, a bit of wrestling, tough *****, I like her. She continues this way and Eddie will definitely get her a world title fight soon.

Eddie Hearn calls Scardina the flag-bearer of Italian boxing at the moment...which is a little surprising at first, but, guess that does make sense from a promoter's standpoint. There probably isn't anybody else that puts culos in seats as much. Even in terms of p4p, the landscape is kinda barren enough that he might have a shout. There are certainly bigger names that are still active, but they're guys in their late thirties if not forties whose name value is based on their exploits 10-15 years ago...maybe not serious draws anymore. (guys like Boschiero, De Carolis, Loriga, Marsili, Fiordigiglio, etc)

Much easier to maneuver toward in the women's ranks, thin as they are. :deal: I'd be shocked if she doesn't contend within a year or so.

Don't be shocked if Cavallucci (bald, tall southpaw - sorry, switch-hitter - for those just tuning in) springs the upset here despite his 12-4-1 record not being as pretty.

Esposito may be 14-0 but has only had two previous fights discussed in RBR threads on here in the past: getting a gift over Jonny Joel Zeze Sigheh a couple of years ago (@f1ght3rz had it a draw), and only captured this belt in February due to Tobia Giuseppe Loriga being shot to bits, and even then Loriga managed to mark up his face. He has a good engine but paper skin and average skills.

Cavallucci bringing it in the opening pair. How long can he keep this up? :ggg

So far outfighting Esposito by a large margin, but again, the one thing the incumbent champ does reliably have is a gas tank.

Slow starts seem to be the M.O. for Esposito... he was down 3-0 against Sigheh before the Cameroonian gassed in the second half, and all three judges gave Loriga the first two rounds against him.

He's clawing in here, from round 3, after a brilliant but energy-consumptive start from Cavallucci.
