    Round 1

Scardina is stalking Doberstein and not yet cutting off the ring with any urgency. Doberstein is electing to box elusively and roping in some loose jabs and crosses past the guard from a slouch and half-crouch outside. Scardina looking to intuit where he's going to move and time him with heavy power shots, but Doberstein effectively keeping him turning or jumping in to clinch so that he can never put more than one together.

    10-9 Doberstein, close

    Round 2

Doberstein is carrying his left arm slung low and baiting Scardina in, using head movement and full upper body tilts downward to slip punches before rising up and pecking at Scardina with jabs and quick light hooks. Scardina keeps up a tight high guard and juggernauts his way in, landing some meaty body shots nearly trapping Doberstein on the ropes. Scardina keeps working the body, even in the clinch, which Doberstein is now initiating more to cast a wet blanket on Scardina's newfound vigor. Big right hands up top and left hooks on the body from Doberstein, hissing through his teeth amateur-style, nothing backing Scardina off, mostly at least in part hitting arms. Late hit by Scardina; might have been a timekeeper goof letting it go a few seconds too long as Doberstein's coach screams at the officials.

    10-9 Scardina, close

    19-19

Very smart doberstein at end of the round. He combining hooks and uppercuts he could find holes in the guard that didnt seem to exist. Very well.

But was it me? or did he look gassed after only one round?

    Round 3

Scardina pumping hard jabs in threes and fours down into the face of Doberstein, lunging and chasing after him, then ripping power shots on the body. Doberstein grabbing Scardina by the neck and dragging him into rough clinches, wrestling and cranking on his neck until the ref orders a break. Doberstein stalling for time, because when he isn't doing that, Scardina is marching him down and landing BIG shots. Doberstein hurt by a line drive right, flailing against the ropes, series of powerful hooks by Scardina! Doberstein holds! They break and Doberstein is frantically jabbing and circling away but Scardina remains in his chest.

    10-9 Scardina

    29-28 Scardina

    Round 4

Scardina is bashing Doberstein with hooks and harpooning rights. Big rallies by Doberstein, jabbing and hooking away, landing several in a row but the difference is that he can't get Scardina to respect his power, while a single body shot from Scardina can fold him in half. Scardina ups hiw own work rate after Doberstein's sputters down. Scardina terminating all of Doberstein's courageous volleys with a couple of huge blows, spinning him around with a left upper-hook at the bell.

    10-9 Scardina

    39-37 Scardina

Doberstein punch selection is supperb!! It's a pity the rest of his skills are not the same.

But how can he be gassed in round 4? I would swear he prepared the fight by drinking chivas and smoking malboro o_O

Corner stops it, Doberstein arguing with them and the referee, but not allowed off his stool.

    TKO4!

Tbf he did throw everything but the kitchen sink at Scardina to fend him off, to no avail. He gassed himself out that fast by expending all that energy clinching and combination-punching for dear life.

If he did possess a lick of power, yeah, he could be a little better than Euro level. Only seven kayos, though, and this was his 32nd bout.

I mean, the guy drew with Henry Weper and held Robin Krasniqi to a MD, so he's at least solidly Euro level...and Scardina got rid of him a few rounds faster than Brähmer. Good result. Should be about ready for a step up versus a fellow world ranked contender, though.

Given the state of the WBO rankings (Scardina was #13 heading in but picked up a trinket of theirs) a mouth-watering clash with fellow raw banger Edgar Berlanga (currently WBO #7) could be on the horizon.

What amazed me was how incredibly smart he was when selecting punches to find holes in scardina's guard (that was not bad at all). It's not a very common talent, incredibly smart combinations in order to create the hole and use it. I didnt expect it tbh. It's a pity he gassed out.

And it is a pity his defense is trash too. :(
