That was a beautiful right hand by Garcia.

I hate to say it, but I think Rios's chin has cracked.

Call me crazy, but I think Garcia could stop Porter.

Questionable decisions that he shouldn't have gotten. Also him and his father are clearly in it for the money, and not to test yourself against the best available opposition. He will probably ask for another tune up fight later this year

Why? I can see the hate for the dad but why hate DSG so much?

I don't get it neither. I can see hate for guys like FMJ, McGregor, Naz, RJJ, Fury who talk a bunch of trash. DSG is pretty mild in his interviews and most of his fights have been very entertaining.

Huh? I responded to someone who says the only reason Garcia gets criticized is because of his dad. I mentioned my criticisms of him, and why I want him to be fed to Spence, to show that some people have criticisms that has absolutely 0 to do with his dad.

And.... somehow that makes me 'nauseous'? You agree with what I am saying, yet not the 'magnification to such an extreme'?

lol... not quite sure I follow. I responded to a post about criticisms of Garcia. Its probably one of the few times Ive ever really criticized him on here, and everything I said was true. Its not like Im going in every Garcia thread hating on the guy.... yet because I dont like the level of fights hes been given since Matthysse (Salka, Vargas, Malignaggi, Rios) Im drinking haterade? lol... erm.. ok.

Exactly where is this nauseousness and 'extreme magnification' that prompted your reply? Me wanting him to be fed to Spence? Me thinking he shouldnt have fought Rios? Me not liking how much he embraces feasting on soft touches?

That makes me 'nauseous'? Because I post about it a few times in a day in response to another post? I am somewhat confused lol.

    - I agree hes a relative star.... thats why I put 'star' in my initial comment. But hes a mid tier star. Not PPV level but very good for non ppv. Nothing wrong with that.

    - The Matthysse fight was over -four- years ago. Since then, he has fought one legacy fight, which would be Thurman.... hes fought 2 ok matchups (Peterson, Herrera) 1 bad matchup but ok I get it (Malignaggi) and 3 downright embarrassing matchups for a fighter of Garcias level (Salka, Rios, Vargas)

Spin it however you want (actually, that you are even attempting to defend fighting the likes of Rios is pretty bad. Sometimes you just have to know when to say 'ya that was a **** fight') but when you are a legit top 4 or 5 fighter, and have had one legacy fight in the last four years, with guys like Salka, Rios, Vargas, and Malignaggi also in that timespan, no.... you deserve criticism. And then when you make fun of your level of opposition, it of course pretty much welcomes the 'haters' to be more vocal about it.

I can understand that you like Garcia, but come on man  You literally just tried legitimizing this Rios fight right now.

Anyways, it is what it is. I get that youre a fan of Garcia. I know what its like to be a fan of a fighter and because of it maybe sometimes we dont hold that fighter to a standard the way we should. And while I think Garcia is one of the worst offenders, truth is plenty of fighters follow a somewhat similar pattern to him.... my point was just to point out that people have criticisms with him that have nothing to do with his dad.
