Ash, as no.1 Mandy nut-hugger, I'd be disappointed if you didn't find it shabby. That would be letting your well-earned reputation down! :yep

All good points, as with many others in this thread - the most sensible thread in a long time actually! IMO Kostya was the right package (and don't underestimate little things like the rat tail hair and nice smile), at the right point in time, with the right people doing & saying the right things, and the cream on the cake was he was a bloody champion. Vic is certainly a champion, but has had few of the other things listed above going for him.
This content is protected Darchinyan wants Donaire in Australia Vic Darchinyan is planning to knockout Filipino star Nonito Donaire on a huge Australian double-bill topped by Danny Green v Bernard Hopkins. Green and Darchinyan today outlined plans for the double header to take place in Australia early next year. Both boxers returned from the US today, after Darchinyan claimed the WBC super-flyweight title in a second-round knockout over Tomas Rojas on the weekend. Darchinyan wants the rematch with Donaire, one of only two fighters who have beaten him, but says it is unlikely the Filipino flyweight will travel to Australia. Darchinyan says he has already challenged Donaire. "That's what I want - I think the only man close in my division is Nonito Donaire," he said. "I told him I want to fight you. Just accept my fight because you're interim champion you have to take the fight. "I'm looking forward to fighting him and I hope it's going to happen."
