so you're not educated on the countless American cowards that have ran from the big fights through out history? no one else does it like the Americans. :deal

whether you consider Garcia to be a Rican or American, i think he's spent far too much time in the states and is likely to be sporting a huge camel toe. :deal

history will always repeat for those who are clueless and afraid of the truth. :deal

that is ignorant in the extreme. like at school, there is always someone tougher than you who you didn't want to mess with. boxing is no different.

lets hope so. it wouldn't be good to see Lucas ****ed over again. he's been ****ed over far too many times already.

exactly! fear is natural to the human species. don't know why people are so averse to it.

I find it hard to believe for a fighter not to have some fear in them when they go into combat. When fighting anything can happen, for all they know that fight could be there last.

Danny might of thought twice about this fight, but if he wants to be acknowledge as the best in his class he has to go through Lucas to make it official in the eyes of the fans. He'll defintely have his work cut out for him, with this fight.

sooner or later, showtime's boxing budget will come into play. they reportedly just lost millions on their floyd-guerrero PPV.

this fight may well be pushed back to next year.

this is a mega fight imo. they both deserve to be paid well so i don't believe it happens on the undercard of floyd/canelo with both of those high paid guys. it's the perfect prelude into floyd/canelo fight week and gets the ball rolling.

i also believe that you don't just jump into a fight like this without careful negotiation. there is no second crack at this. this is going to be the toughest fight of each guys career. you want to make sure that you cross your t's and dot your i's.

I guess Spinks wasn't petrifired v/ Tyson, so was Bruno, so was Alex Stewart, etc.

Maybe? Then again, maybe their separate legal teams are hammering out a deal? Maybe LM isn't happy with the proposed deal. MAYBE ONE OF A THOUSAND THINGS.

But you're right, the only possible answer is that he's scared, I mean, that is what you're driving at right? Otherwise you would have phrased it: "Why hasn't Danny signed to fight Matthyse yet?"

I don't think Danny cares if he's recognized as the best in his class. Like most fighters, he's got pride and he wants respect, but he'd be ******ed to not understand(or care) how dangerous Matthysse is...given how much he'll have on line against the Argentine(probable Mayweathyer fight after a random fight at 147).

I don't think Garcia will fight Matthysse. He does not want to get knocked out. I saw the fear on his face................
