Saying he'd have a good shot and saying those 2 wouldn't stand a chance are 2 entirely different angles. I agree with you, but not with him. Both would be excellent fights that could really go either way.

 

Garcia's the truth. Matthysse is the only fight at 140 that makes sense. He might get a call for a big fight now though....Bradley vs Garcia would be great as would JMM vs Garcia. Rios hasn't done **** but beat a barely B level fighter that was tailor made for him and even Alvarado who's a **** technician was outboxing him when he tried. Rios got so overhyped for being exciting after the Alvarado fight that people forget he just lost 11 of 12 rounds to Abril and gets outboxed by anyone with decent technical ability and a chin. If Rios can't bully you he's ****ed, Danny would massacre him being as good as him in every category he's good at plus actually being able to box.

 

Got to admit garcia has grown on me, kid does everything right goes to the body, uses feints, works the jab, can mix it up as well as counterpunch. He has a few old school traits. If you cant recognize this kids talent YDKSAB

Moving on. Garcia IS a smart fighter. You must be of the camp that think Garcia caught Khan with a "lucky punch", cause anyone with a brain could see Danny was timing him from the 1st round. Stupid fighters don't do that.

No one is overrating Garcia, certain posters just seem to have an opinion that doesn't gel with yours, so you get mad and have your period all over the place.

 

Lol imo it was an even fight before rios tko alvarado. Even if alvarado was outboxing rios, riso was the one that was hitting and hurting alvarado more then alvarado hurt him. Look at alvarado face compare to rios face? You would think rios was easily beating alvarado up like nothing. Danny doesnt have the skills that abril brings. **** danny was easily getting outbox by khan before danny caught khan in the 4th.

 

Bradley by close UD where he gets in trouble late and shows his warrior heart like always to prevail- another dude that's int he mold of garcia and ward a pure winner.

I'd be rooting for Garcia though.

 

I don't think Matthysse is easy to outbox, he isn't the most skilled but he cuts the ring of well, picks a lot of shots of with his forearms and gloves he isn't wild when attacking and is quite good at mid to close range fighting.

 

no he wasn't getting outboxed by khan at all, he was outboxing khan from round 1, Khan won the first 2 rounds by being more active with his pitty pat shoe shining punches, the more significant shots and counters werre being landed by by danny but he got outhustled while he was setting traps and timing khan. by round 3 he had him timed and knew that Khan couldn't hurt him so it was game over.

Matthysse ko's garcia and leaves his face a bloody mess,i seen morales in the beginning stagger garcia a couple times and swell him up, difference is matthysse can knock you out with either hand.
