Matthysse is actually an excellent, world-class fighter. But he isn't invincible. I expect a good fight that either guy really could win. I think it will be even going into the 9th Round, and that's where it may get dicey for Garcia.

 

This fight is still not scheduled, i wouldn't hold my breath if i where you.

Just the way it is nowadays unfortunately. So many different weight classes, so many different belts. Too many options.
Boxing is the only sport where the best don't always fight the best.

 

IF this fight happens, which I am getting my hopes up, it will only mean that the winner of Matthysse/Garcia is next for Floyd. Its a great way to expose them on PPV as Floyd's next opponent.....yes, even though I really want Canelo to KO Floyd, I am picking Floyd over Canelo on a boring UD.

Seriously though, it's all on Garcia. You can tell by how uncharacteristically quiet they've been. I believe Matthysse.

I agree. Danny deserves some credit for everything he has accomplished. I don't think he will win this one but he isn't running away. I think he could have avoided Lucas if he really wanted to and been justified. Just becuase he has taken on some big names already, but being on the under card of a Floyd Mayweather fight means a lot of exposure and money. ......making the risk worth it. Had this been a regular HBO fight I think Danny wouldn't have agreed at this point.

 

I agree floyd will most likely get the winner. It will make floyd look great because neither guy can beat him. so it's at least 2 more wins for floyd!
