Garcia fans like to believe he shut lucas down with skill when in reality it was his 20+ low blows. He was warned for it as early as round 3 and continued to hit low in every ****ing round after that and was never warned again till he was deducted. He should have been dq'd and I seriously mean that. The amount and force of each low blow was devastating. He would bolo punch lucas in the thigh every round past 5.

Matthyss barley rabbit punched garcia, did you even watch it? So its 2 or 3 rabbit punches vs 10-20 low blows.

That's just not true. The side of the head is legal and the few times he actually did hit behind the head garcia was turning his head with it. The back of the head shots were far inbetween while garcias low blows were apparent every minute or so in the fight.

Everybody gave mares hell for the agbeko fight and garcia literally doubled mares low blow output from that fight but he's the man for it. Its cool that he won but one MUST acknowldge the low blows...there was just an absurd amount of them.

Danny does this intentionally to slow down/distract his opponents. He did it to both Khan and Lucas when things weren't going his way.

Its *****ole blind stans like these that twist **** up..

I said it was Weeks fault, if I was Danny & I could get away with it then I wouldn't think twice.
Danny was holding on for dear life evertime they got close in the last few rounds, he won the decision but the KD that won him the fight on the cards was bull****.

Matthysse deserves a rematch, he didn't complain about the fight but he requested a rematch & in light of his eye closing half way & the low blows/holding & bull**** knockdown he deserves it.

The funny thing is he actually sneaks them into his combos rofl over the top, dip under to the side over the top against and finish with a low blow/uppercut

Matt was no cleaner, kidney punches and back of the head.

I like both fighters and even though i like Lucas more i can not really blame Garcia for going low when Weeks did absolutely nothing about it.
He was simply terrible that night, and i do think he changed the outcome of the fight with **** poor judgement.

If you take away the bogus knock down and dock Garcia at least 1 point you have a very different outcome.
    Rematch should be mandatory.

The majority of his "low blows" were right on the belt line. He had probably 2, 3 at most that could be considered questionable and he was deducted one point accordingly for it.

And as someone mentioned, the way Matthyse lunged in and kept his head down when Danny tried to counter to his body caused some of those bodyshots to land rather low. But still, the majority of his so called lowblows were right on the belt line and were legal.

I'm looking forward to the re-cast of the fight on SHowtime this weekend so I can look out for the supposed headbutt he gave Mattyhse that cause his eye to close like hat. Usually a headbutt will cause a cut/gash to open up, it won't close a boxers eye the way Lucas' was after the 6th round.

lol, there was nothing wrong this fight, not in the reffing or the fighters. Since, both fighter's cosistently did things that could be construed as dirty, and many times one was in response to the other. Weeks did exactly as he should, let it play without minimal involvement since these guys were doin each other bad. A tone, precedence was set for dirty fighting that had nothing to do with Weeks... as for the fighter's they fighting, and taking care of business themselves when they felt they wronged, that's why you saw no complaining, unlike here.

The fight started off dirty and finished in the same tone it started. Both, fighters were out of line in different instances and if they didn't have a problem with it, why some the ref.

    let me ask you something....

is pulling down on someone's head legal? do u think it harms the guy getting his head pulled down? if so, how do u suggest a fighter react? wait for the ref to say something or take a point?

    it's boxing...not figure skating.
