Expected nothing less from this forum. Good fight by Danny. Perfect in fact. Now... some of what you guys are saying is pure b.s. The only guy rocked in the fight was Danny. Lucas, with one eye closed was taking the left hook by Garcia without even flinching. Lucas wins in a rematch like he was winning before the eye injury.
Props to Garcia for getting that eye shut. That was the game changer and what gave him the win. Lucas takes the rematch. Anybody with a basic understanding of boxing and watching the fight with an objective mind knows this.
By the way. this is coming from a neutral point of view. I don't give a crap about neither. Just you guys are delusional.

danny spun him into the ropes and hit him clean before he dropped. that's a knock down.

danny fractured his eye socket with a jab! lucas landed his best punch and danny ate it like a cookie. with the exception of the late low blow...none of them did any real damage. they were belt line shots.

matthysse was hurt a few times. he gave garcia credit. why can't u? he admitted danny was the better fighter? why can't u? i think he knows better than u do, he was in the ring with danny and felt his shots.

 

Bravo!

 

Competitive fight and Danny finally earned some respect. But I'd certainly like to see it again.

 

Danny fans must be blind because you Didn't mention the tangled up in the ropes or pushed down Danny did to help secure the KD

Matthysse gave Garcia credit and Danny showed great respect after the fight. I thought it was a great championship fight. Good boxing theatre
