i agree, it was pretty even up until that point but obviously that's not an excuse... danny had a good game plan and the closed eye made a garcia win inevitable..

Garcia got his mouth piece knocked out on a clean ass shot and Dropped Lucas on the same round. Garica beat the hell out of Matthysse! I tried to tell people whats gonna happen Garica hit Lucas and everybody was like "Hes gonna take it easy, not even phase him" Well them body punches and hooks rocked Matthysse. he took some well but Garcia just way to much for him

It was a good give and take fight but the difference was that Danny was a better boxer than Lucas and that proved to be the tipping point. They both have power, good chins and heart.

 

Was no knockdown he was pulled on the back of the neck forward with the forearm losing his balance.

Some of the sneaky back of the head punches matthysse was doing in the clinch did make me wonder and am going back over his past fights to see if he hurts his opponents or makes them dizzy by hitting on the back of the head like khan complained of against peterson and maidana.

Great win for Garcia and a dominating performance but it wasn't some beating.
