    God how I wish that mouthpiece shot would have knocked Garcia out :lol: His chin is amazing. Great win for Danny.

    Agreed. I'm wondering if all some people saw was the eye damage and not the rest of the fight.

    Also, Lucas was hitting Danny with flush shots, and Danny didn't even move. I was wondering if Lucas was as surprised as I was. It looked like for the first few rounds Matthysse was going back to his corner and kind of looking funny at Danny. And then he was sitting on his stool and staring at Danny, not even listening to his trainer.

    Swelled Lucas's eyepiece, rocked him, dropped him, outboxed him and won comfortably. Just because it wasn't clearly one sided doesn't mean it was not a beating. Lucas had a few moments, Danny had more and those moments were clearly better...when you get beat clearly in all facets of the game, you got a beating. Wouldn't doubt Lucas is not he same after that distant look in his eye I seen a few times, I really think he was believed he was going to beat Danny easy, what actually occurred has to be shell shocking in comparison.

    Truth is, Lucas did take a beating though. Regardless of the competitiveness of the fight.


    If either one of these guys had any less then iron chins, this fight would have been over mid fight. They were eating straight bombs flush on their chin. Lucas doing so while not being able to see. Their chins were unreal.

    Mathysee didn't impress me in the Peterson fight. Pederson never impressed me against Amer Con.. If you can't STOP JUDAH. That tells me your power is not as great as Tszyu.

    Anyway power means **** at this level.Skills pay the bills!! and Garcia was by far the better operator.They both have good chins tho!!

    Guys, nobody was throwing stuff into the ring during the fight, lmao!

    Matthysse landed a short left hook right on the eye. He swelled Matthysse's eye. That was no lucky shot. Danny was fuguring him out, and didn't want to waste his load early. He started to time Matthysse coming in, and when he found what he wanted, he swelled Matthysse's eye, his jaw, busted his nose, and even shook him up at times. Danny banged his body too. And with all of his vaunted power...Matthysse never even hurt Danny.

    Danny beat his ass.

    It was a clear win for Danny. Matthysse fought hard to his credit, but Danny beat his ass. None of you thought that this would happen except a select few.

    It was competitive. That doesn't mean that Danny didn't beat his ass, lmao. Look at Matthysse's face. That was "The Machine" Danny did that too, lmao!
