Danny Garcia beat the hell out of Matthysse!

Matthysse was doing well until his eye started closing, in a rematch Matthysse would knock Garcia out. Garcia fought scared the whole match, holding , nutpunching.
FFS, a better judge would penalized him more then that 1 point.

NOT to talk about that BS knockdown, stop talking like it was a total schooling.

Lucas deserves a rematch

Garcia won but he did not beat the hell out of Matthysse .

114/112 is acceptable .

In my opinion the KD over Matthysse was not a legit knockdown . Matthysse head got caught in the ropes and Garcia took advantage and teed off on him ( I would've done the same) . But we have to be honest , the knockdown was not legit .

Both fighters stunned one another by the way .

 

Knockdown was legit. Body punch was the key and Lucas reaction to the ref counting was a CLEAR indication that Lucas knew he was had by Danny.

Fact it, Lucas was hyped up and Danny is the better fighter.

Of course Every fighter has to react to the ref when hes counting , no fighter wants to be counted out .

Danny is a good fighter but A rematch would look a lot different .

 

Not gonna lie the shot behind the head in addition to the nut punches was kind of dirty.

 

It was a close fight. Danny won but he was badly hurt a few times and Garcia was fight with one eye for half the fight which clearly did affect him.

 

totally agreed.... the gif doesn't work for me but i'm pretty sure the one you are talking abot looks like a replica of the Amir Khan knockdown... Lucas took it higher on the head but it didn't even look like Lucas flinched... what a chin

WTF do you guys saw the fights the freaking corner opened the eye He wasn't blind check the freaking fight there where only two rounds with a closed eye, the corner did a heck of a job opening that eye. See the fight again people. Mathysse fought more carefully because He just felt Garcia's power and He lost concentration with the damage eye.

 

Both fighters showed amazing chin but the fighter that took the best punch of the fight was Garcia, that punch trowed his mouthpiece like a jet flying.

 

I just find it funny that before the fight everyone was saying once Lucas touches Danny he will get KTFO. I even remember a thread called "12 hours before Danny leaves the ring in a stretcher". LUCAS is a machine and eats iguanas, his power is too much for Danny, they were saying Angel will be throwing the towel and crying in the ring for his dead son. Bla , bla , bla, blah blah.
Before it was a all about Lucas out of this world power. And now, after the fight everyone is praising Lucas for his chin and not even giving Danny any props for his. No one is mentioning what happened to that power.
The truth is it was a great fight. Both have great chins. Both have the heart that makes a true champion. Garcia was just the better of the two. But I don't think Lucas will be around for a long time. True boxing fans knew knew Garcia has the skills to beat Lucas.
The eye was not an accident. It was Danny jabbing effectively early in the fight. The knockdown was legit.
Bottom line: "the son of Angel" is here to stay.

 

He beat the hell out of matthysse's ball sack... Dont get me wrong danny deserved the win, and i thought he would win.... But i got more respect for matthysse after this, he took the hits like a man and didnt ***** out like hopkins, peterson or judah would've.

A direct full swing hook into the groin area which clearly hurt him and he was back up ready to fight in less than a minute. Matthysse is a real hard man.
