Danny Garcia beats Lucas Matthysse again if the second fight ever occurs

It's the chin/rough inside tactics that Garcia employs, he is simply Lucas's kryptonite. Someone who is a nightmare for someone like him.

Lucas isn't a multi-dimensional fighter, we know what's he going to do.

Rough you up on the inside (By way of punching on the hold/rabbit punching), throw you out of your comfort zone, try to land the left hook/right hands and bomb you out. Garcia was just rougher than him on that night and was the better man.

It's a very similar situation to a Hatton/Mayweather. We know how rough and tough Hatton is on the inside, but Mayweather brought another dimension to his game on the night of Dec 8, 2007. He was outfighting him on the inside, employing very very rough tactics in there. He was standing toe to toe, using his forearms/elbows to halt Hatton's entry and completely tiring him out.

I just can't imagine Hatton beating Mayweather at all, at any weight class, any time. Mayweather is someone that Hatton is never ever going to beat. Stylistic nightmare.

Garcia is someone that Lucas is never going to beat, just a stylistic nightmare for someone like him. Lucas is a very good fighter, but Garcia is just a notch better.

Danny has bigger and better things to accomplish. Lucas isn't a high priority in his mind.

He needed Lucas to get to the next level, and now he's there. And he'll be going up to 47 for big ass paydays/much more intriguing fights.
