Garcia didn't take any extra because he supposedly won, right? Because that'd put "robbery" beyond a boxing perspective.

 

This week last year, Andy Lee was barely winning an eight-round majority decision against Frank Horta in Denmark.

Then he knocked out John Jackson, Matt Korobov, and now he's pocketing upwards of $700,000 fighting Quillin.

That dude is on the roll of a lifetime.

 

Garcia should pay the fans to watch his crooked fights.....................Herrera is the real champion, then Peterson beat him. Matthysse knocked Peterson out in round three......................Garcia will stick to fighting bums and even lose to them! I am sick of Garcia. Since Matthysse fought Garcia, Garcia has not been the same....................

 

I'm frankly surprised Quillin (a Haymon guy, no?) had the same base pay as Lee.

 

roc nation bid 1.9mil for his fight against korobov.

quillin being the champ was to get 1.4mil.

quillin, based probly on haymon's advice (being the adviser) declined the offer.

since quillin weighed over the limit against lee, he also lost 125k of his purse so he ended up with just 375k.

quillin lost about 1mil.

 

...and he is probably nearing or past the peak of his drawing power. :-( What an idiot.

 

Herrera did beat him but no way LaMont Cheaterson won
