I'm not quite sure why there are so many people saying this is a 50/50 fight. Peterson is good, but who has he beaten? Khan? Come on, that was controversial at best. And when it's all said and done that will be looked at as the fight of his career...and he still lost in the eyes of almost everyone.

Peterson is a counter puncher who likes to be aggressive and fight at middle to close range. He's at his best when he is the physically stronger fighter and he can make guys back up. But that won't work against Danny. He's not stronger than Gaarcia and he doesn't have a good enough jab to get inside with. The problem is, that for the most part, Garcia is the same type of fighter. But he is faster, bigger, stronger and has way more power. Plus, he doesn't have to move forward to do his best work. As Peterson gets more and more aggressive and tries to walk Garcia down and cut the ring off he's going to get hit with some big shots. Danny might get the stoppage. Otherwise, clear cut unanimous decision.

Viktor Postol will be fighting on the undercard. I'm more interested to see that one. This one doesn't thrill me more than a potential Cotto-K9 fight. If he fought Matthysse again, I'd be very excited.

Who said 50/50? I have it more like 80/20.
