Danny Garcia: Golovkin is too big for Canelo

GGG isn't 5ft10 either.

 

He is. I'm 5'10, and he was slightly taller than me when I was next to him.

 

Size differentiation is hard to tell until the two actually get in the ring. I will say that besides the height disparity, they both appear to be about the same size.

They don't want to give Golovkin his props and just say the guy is a better boxer/puncher than Canelo and overall better all around fighter in general. They wont do that. Instead they just shoot out that Golovkin is too big!:verysad Canelo wasnt "too big" for Cotto when they fought. :think

 

GGG IS too big for Canelo. Canelo is bigger than GGG but Canelo doesnt face people his own weight he faces blown up Welterweights and GGG isnt a blow up Welter, hence he is too big.

Maybe Canelo should target Frampton, Inuoe or a kitten after the Khan fight. Would be big names for his resume.

The thing is Garcia wants a money fight against Floyd or Canelo. He doesn´t want to loose his options by taking serious fight (they are talking shot Berto for their next fight ) and they don´t want Canelo to make the same mistake either. This is GBP boxing!!

 

Canelo is 5'7-5'8 MAX I have met him and Khan a couple of times and Khan is 5'8 if you see them face off Khan is clearly taller so yeah at 5'10 maybe GGG is taller as for "bigger" I am not sure as Canelo is a big guy very board stocky.

 

Lara is just a lot better all around fighter then Canelo and has a lot more difficult a style.

Seriously, some boxers just need to keep their mouths shut.

Funny thing is, that once one of these boxers comes up with some ridiculous statement, some of their fans pick it up and repeat it over and over again as if it's a gospel.
