Danny Garcia has to Avenge WINS? Smh

Floyd avenged WINS smh against Corrales and Maidana. Oscar wanted him to avenge his win against him, but Floyd went on vacation.

 

He lost to Herrera and Peterson no matter what the corrupt US judges say, he also did not convincingly win over Matthysse, so a rematch would be expected for each of these 3 fights. It'd be better for him, he's drawing a lot of dislike with these robberies.

 

Its not outlandish to want a rematch of exciting or close fights. Obviously if he can get high profile fights that aren't rematches thats cool, but all of those rematches would be high profile (other than Herrera who you forgot)

Look I was @ fight and of course I was rooting for Peterson as I live in DC. However, I am a Garcia fan as well. With that said, he has had 2 decision in his last 3 fights that were really controversial. Yes a fighter doesn't always have to avenge every close decision, but when you have 2 decisions that were not well received by public within 12 months, I think a proud prize fighter would want to prove he was the true winner ( a la Mayweather/Castillo, even Pacquiao faced Marquez 4 times, etc...)

I initially thought it was very close and was ok with the decision at the actual event, because DC/MD was deep near my section, so there was a lot of conversation going on and so forth, which had me thinking that maybe Danny did have first half of fight, as my attention was back and forth between ring and my section.

However, after watching on DVR once I got home, the best I could give Garcia was a draw. He landed some good body shots here and there, but I feel Peterson won as many rounds and was more dominate in his winning rounds. Danny is a champ though and took some flush shots. But again, I think a proud champion would want to prove that he should have won first match.

Just my thoughts.

 

He needs to avenge losses to Herrera and Peterson.

 

He knocked out Khan and beat up Lucas.no need for those rematches..but he needs to rematch Peterson clearly
