It makes me laught people even tryin to compare the "worst" hood of philly with anything they have down there in Argentina...it's hilarious. It seems many of this guys havent read a newspaper or watch the news in years.
being from the 'hood' doesn't mean anything anymore. I remember Judah talking about being from the 'hood' and Brooklyn and he got obliterated by Kostya Tszyu. :rofl
Emmanual Steward: "Where the Klitschko's grew up makes the worst slums in Detroit look like a Country Club"
Philly and detroit are borderline ******ed lol. Ny is just as "hood". The difference people got smarter with their crime here
Being from "the hood" is embarassing. It means you're family could not afford to provide you a decent place to grow up. Only teenagers and suburban kids think the "hood" is cool
Thank god He Was born in Philly and not in Puerto Rico. Philadelphia streets is like heaven compared to PR streets.
I was just in north Philly (Kesington and Broad) and that place is an absolute dump. I dont know why folks think ghettos somehow give you street cred. If anything, places like that have a high government/welfare ratio and that somewhat diminishes the idea of having "cred" for starters.
