Your getting way too emotional lol

Garcia is an elite fighter i like him but he has NO head movement, against Lucas that will only end bad for you

Garcia has power in both hands but Matthysse has a nice block and good head movement

I think Peterson is elite too but it was just the wrong style match up against Matthysse because of his chin

By saying Garcia gets stopped in 6 i dont mean hes **** its just hes gonna get hit hard and he wont take it

How much money you put on the fight?

I'm changing my pick to Garcia.

Watching matthysse fights, he just misses too much and is wide open for a counter puncher or someone like garcia who will be there punching with him.

for me Garcia has the greater one punch KO power.

matthysse landed many power punches on Alexander and Judah and Ajose...and only Ajose was TKO after 10 rounds. its a myth that he can just touch you and put you to sleep. mike Dallas was an exception as he was ill prepared and shaky legged anyway. even an old small shopworn Soto took many big shots from Matthysse before falling.

matthysse hurts with his punches and hit hard. but the greater one punch KO power is with Garcia.

i'm going Garcia by KO... Early too

I know...North Philly is a rough area. Broad Street is infamous for how grimey it is. Southwest Philly is just as bad. "Hundreds of street fights" is definitely unrealistic but I know you were just trying to prove a point. I doubt Garcia would have been dumb enough to fight guys who pulled a gun or knife out but I'm sure a lot of the guys he's tussled with were holding.

Lucas is from a very rough area in Argentina from what I heard. It's a different hood but the dangers are all the same. Lucas is cut from a different cloth than Danny although both come a rough upbringing.

I don't necessarily believe Danny is scared of Lucas. I don't think he's afraid of getting hurt or even KO'd....I think he's aware that the possibilty of losing to Lucas is very real.....and losing by KO is most likely the only outcome IF Danny is to end up with an "L".

I'm still going with Lucas but I definitely give Danny a shot......it's just not the likely outcome in my opinion.

this doesn't mean much...getting hit flush with a bomb on the chin will expose even the toughest of fighters, from the roughest of neighborhoods. marco antonio barrera, muhammad ali and jcc jr, just to name a few, all came up well and you cant question the toughness of either, especially ali and barrera.

Writing Garcia off completely and calling him a coward and saying he's scared is just stupid and ignorant, he's a world champion, why would he be scared ? he signed to fight Lucas and is gonna be there in the ring on fight night whilst you guys who slag him off will be sat on your arses slurping a can of stella and eating a pork pie.

I fancy Matthysse to win by stoppage but it's not a confident pick, the fight could really go either way, Danny is, of course "just a bum" according to some idiots but the fight will be competitive and Garcia, I believe, will lose but come out of the fight with his stock raised after a gruelling battle.

^^I think both fighters will be having their chins checked on Saturday. Garcia is probably the hardest puncher that matthyse has ever faced, and vice versa. Has a chance to be a FOY candidate no doubt.

Imagine a Garcia vs Rios? That would be good.

That would be a better fight in my opinion! I think that fight is more evenly matched and less chance of a early round knockout than this one. Danny will have to fight a different fight than he's used to. With Rios....I think he could go with his typical game plan and be successful.

I think Matthysse has been getting an inordinate amount of "hype" as of late.

But (as I've said before) a fighter that is over-hyped is usually over-hyped for a reason -- they're dam good!

Matthysse is a VERY dangerous fighter!

He is a legitimate and fearsome contender.

Only a fool would take him lightly.

The first rule of combat is: NEVER underestimate your opponent!

Garcia is also a VERY dangerous fighter!

He is a legitimate and solid champion.

He has power in BOTH hands and great timing!

I think a lot of people are underestimating Garcia.

I hope Matthysse isn't one of them...

as that would be a serious mistake!

Monzon, Matthysse & many Argie champions are originally from Patagonia . Most the tough Argentineans are from the poorest part of Patagonia...A southern region that was populated by natives. The poorest Iberians-Italians moved there and many toke native women

Patagonia population is small but over represented in boxing...North Philly is beautiful
