i think thats the first disagreement in ESB history that didnt end in name calling and just 2 guys saying "ok, if thats how you see it, thats cool"
Danny Garcia is a 140 pound fighter if Mayweather wants to fight him then he should fight him at 140. JK just using ***** logic here.
Nothing embarrassing about climbing through the ropes to fight a champion my friend. Grossly out-classed yes but not embarrassed.
Well Bradley used to be a smart fighter. On top of that that was quite a while ago when they fought. Since then Peterson has looked pretty good with a stoppage against Cayo, draw vs Ortiz , a SD against Khan (though controversial) and a stoppage over Holt (though I wouldn't consider Holt elite but he does have a powerful hook) .... Maybe it was money but Bradley refused a rematch Lamont after his fight with Pac (just saying) If Lamont beats Lucas impressively a fight with him and Garcia and/or Floyd would be a tough fight for either of them
He sets the majority of his power punches up using the jab from what I have seen. Does he throw the jab consistently throughout the round? Nope, but he uses it to judge the distance and to keep his opponent occupied/distracted whilst he sets punches up. He uses it to be 1st and 3rd. Not all the time, but intiates the opponent with a jab or range finder, the opponent attacks, then he unleashes his power punches.
I dont think he can jab with a good consistent jabber mate, he would retreat into single power punching. I agree he has a good jab but doesn't use it, plus he does over reach with it sometime as well. I find he lunges slightly with it sometimes.
I agree, but he does use it set his punches up, from what I have seen anyway. Did it against Khan as well, and Khan has a pretty solid jab. DLH-Mosley II is a good example. Mosley neglected/was made to neglect his jab due to DLH throwing 30 odd jabs a round. Still a boxer/puncher. But I do see what you're saying. He doesn't have the best jab, and uses it more as a secondary to set shots up rather than a primary weapon.
I'd rather see Garcia vs. Peterson. Danny always says how he is not in his prime and that he is too young. If Floyd fought him it would be too easy.
Garcia just turned 25 years old. He still developing and learning, He is not even at his peak. So let him fight a few more solid fights like the Lucas vs Peterson fight, so He can develop at least a chance against Floyd.
