He is a C+ fighter and B- on his best day. You have to go back to friggin 2013 to find a good win (Matthyse).

Danny is a very typical PBC fighter that beats a few old/shot "names" and takes 1-2 real fights during his BUILDING phase then the narrative remains they're an ATG/HOF.

Danny is not an ATG/HOF. He was a competitive journeymen/titlist and lost every important fight he was in as well as receiving wins against Herrera and Lamont.

    A joke

Are there people saying DSG is a HOF fighter? Im not saying you're lying but I've never seen anybody say it , they need to give their head a shake if they actually think that

That is absolutely insane, at this point in his career I don't think there's anything he could do to even warrant being on the ballot for the HOF

You know, now that someone mentioned it, I had to go back and look on Boxrec to refresh my memory. Aside from Morales (who was WAY past it), the 3 best boxers he faced, he lost: Thurman, Porter, and Spence. Other guys who were considered good wins like Mattysse, Judah, Khan, Peterson, doesnt bring him into the HOF worthy category IMO. His gift win: Herrera makes it more vivid as to why I cant place him in the HOF.

I have never heard anyone ever say Danny Garcia was a future HOF'er, even a potential one?

But to call him a "journeyman/titlist" is also being intellectually dishonest. He was the legit undisputed champion at 140 and that's a significant accomplishment. At 147 I'd say his ranking was more about fond memories of his 140 success. I also completely agree about those "wins" vs. Herrera and Peterson.

Danny Garcia might be crude and slow but he's very dangerous

He is very tough and will pit himself in a position where he can get hit to trade and you do not want to trade with him.

Old man morales clowned him but too old to pull it off

A top tier boxer will outpoint him but he's no easy man to be in the ring with

Danny was damn good at 140. Probably a bit overrated during his 147 run but you don’t even hear anybody talking about him now so severely overrated is a stretch

He had the talent to carve himself a HOF worthy resume, but inactivity killed any chance of it.
A solid B level guy who fought a lot of the best guys around him, of whom he beat quite a few. He truly wasted his best years by sitting on the sidelines.

If anything, Danny overachieved in that, despite lacking a true "A+" level physical attribute (speed, power, athleticism etc), he's carved out a rather lengthy and commendable career at the highest levels.

Danny dusted Khan when the chinny Brit was still a formidable A-sider.

Likewise, Danny's win against Matthysee (painful as it is for me to admit as an unrepentant Lucas stan) was certainly noteworthy.

Not to mention Judah and Peterson had a case for a draw and both were WAY over the hill anyway

Judah clearly lost that one. However, Peterson got robbed blind by Garcia.

Darcia was a top JrWW for a spell. That's it. Average at WW at best.
