Let's be honest here, i do not think he's very confident. Garcia said Matthysse is going to fight him, as he usually does, will knock him out. Then he said Matthysse can not adapt to other styles, like he will change his style. Garcia's confused, do not know ... i think he regretted having accepted this fight. I do not see Matthysse speaking, what he needs to do is work your defense, i think Matthysse won by knockout in the 11 round.
Well, if Matthysse win this fight and Zab win his next fight. I would love to see this rematch ... Zab school Matthysse again.
on the other hand I see him as confident. not only is he saying that he will win and that a ko is possible, he's also hinting at strategic moves and highlighting what he believes to be weaknesses on matthysse's part, which all in all means he's doing his homework, not just spouting off. his confidence comes as a result of his perceived ability to exploit lucas's faults.
I think Matthysse will start slowly, it will tighten Garcia after 4 rounds. Garcia is a dangerous counter puncher.
schooled? haha Money vs Ghost is a schooling. Zab was running for his life at the ending rounds wth were you watching :-(
I love the way you wrote this for controversy you already said you had it like 114-113 Zab, what kinda schooling is that lol
Matthysse has been talking, and actually started the talking saying that Garcia was "a lil scared" after he stopped Peterson. Garcia you can see in interviews is tired of the Lucas questions.
I agree that Danny is being uncharacteristic. He's usually all "he's a great champion" talk, all complimentary, but this time he's very critical. I'm wondering if Adrien Broner is rubbing off on him, or if this is just his way of acknowledging his opponents' skill, as he only big upped guys like Morales and Judah who are past it, and therefore seemingly at a disadvantage or outmatched. The other thing is ANgel mentioned Mike Dallas Jr. and Ajose as guys Matthyse was supposed to beat, but I don't exactly see it that way. I think both of them Danny might have gone 12 with.
Matthysse's trainer and the fighter himself belittled Danny, and have been doing it for a while even while the fight was being negotiated. Now all of a sudden Danny AND his DAD are talking, and now Danny isn't Danny. Dallas Jr was a bum, and Ajose was a converted southpaw who couldn't box, but landed on Matthysse but couldn't hurt him. i know that you want to belittle Danny by saying that both of those guys go 12 with Garcia, but do you really feel that way? And if you do, how come Danny had an easier time with Judah than Matthysse?
My question is how can your father do such a dumb **** and you turn out fairly decent? I seriously don't know what to think about Garcia. On one hand I want him to lose to shut his father up but he seems like a, relatively, decent guy...
