So far no mentioning of a catchweight which somehow I do see happening. Lamont jab will give Garcia some major problems. This isn't a bad fight and the only fight that can be made between the two fighters.

I'm looking forward to it. At least there will be an undisputed 'man' at 140.

And that means that Garcia is out of the Mayweather sweepstakes! Now that poosay has to man up and fight Khan or Manny. Double win!

His style wouldn't allow him to accomplish what he has with a bad chin, He was stopped by Matthysse a legit puncher. He has a decent chin.

I can see Lamont winning this if he boxes, but he won't. he fights too much of an inside fight to not be a banger, Danny will win that.

At least if Garcia wins will be better win than His last year complete. Peterson is still a top 5 guy and count as a one of the fighter that needed to be beaten to clean the division then move up or fight His mandatory, Postol, and the other two wba champions.

Decent enough fight. Garcia should win, but he can have his off fights. Always nice to see unification fights, although how Peterson is a champ God only knows.

This fight doesn't interest me at all and I don't know why it would. Its been two years since he was flattened by Matthysse, and he hasn't done anything of note since. Why is this considered a good fight.

    Guilty.

But, 'Swift' does fit the role of a perfect Mayweather opponent.

This isn't the type of match up that gets you excited but I think it could be a close and competitive fight.
