    As a boxing fan those are the exact type of fights that should get you excited.

    "but but but...Peterson got knocked out in 3 rounds!" that's true, but it doesn't mean that he can't put on an interesting and exciting fight. People are going to get KOd in boxing, that's going to happen, doesn't mean it has to end their career.

    "but but but...Herrera is Garcia daddy! and lolz@rod salka!" sure Garcia looked not great against Herrera but it's not like he caught a life altering beating. He got out jabbed not beaten to a bloody pulp. It's not like he's shot.

    My point is: whether or not you hate Garcia and think Peterson's IBF belt is a sham at the very least those guys tend to be involved in interesting and fun fights.

    If you only watch the most 'meaningful fights' you're only getting a small percentage of what the sport has to offer. At least in my opinion.

    I get what you're saying and I agree with most of it but still... not many boxing fans are going to be getting excited at the thought of this fight.

    Waste of a match, Danny should just move up to WW already Peterson will be knocked out early, Lamont has very good recovery skills against a Khan or a Ortiz, but against a Matthysse or Garcia his chin won't hold up.

    ^^ Remember Peterson was on PEDs vs Khan, why the fight is not declared a NC is beyond me. Boxing at its finest.

    Decent fight on paper, but with Garcia's disgraceful previous fight and Peterson being a proven drug cheat, I don't have time for either of these guys.
