Garcia is big at 140 and will be up at 47 in the next couple of years. Can't see them ever competing in the same division.

I would like to see that fight. Garcia is a slow starter.

Weight separates them a great deal now. They're 3 divisions apart... I'd pick Danny for sure.

They were younger and probably physically alike but now there bodies have matured and Danny is much bigger means nothing in the pros h2h but mikey is the better fighter skill wise IMO

Mikey is also a police academy graduate and has been boxing since a kid and learned his craft from his dad who trained Vargas.

Actually Mikey didn't start boxing till he was 15. So a relatively late starter to people like Danny.

    Calderon beat Cotto in amateurs.

Point of the sentence above is that it carries no weight at all if these dudes ain't in the same weight classes in the pros.

Creating this thread tells me there are people who are starting to sense an aura of invincibility in Danny Garcia. Otherwise they wouldn't be so fascinated with a loss that happened a long, long time ago. And is there really any shame losing to Mikey especially when it's in the amateurs? Mikey is not a bum. That guy is going far.

DG and MG will obviously never fight in the pros. I'd rather see Mikey vs. Nonito. Same trainer, yes, but Mikey says if circumstances change and he gets a chance to fight Nonito he would.
