In PR there are light skin ricans and dark skin ricans and everything in between. There is a racial divide but at the end of the day Ricans are ricans. There are a small few of course that want to be "white" but you get that with every race. Plenty of black people do that too. I can understand why you would make the comparison and to set the record straight I don't support what Angel did however your taking the event and his "slander" out of context. I'll simply point to your up bringing and the fact that you did not spend your youth in the northeast region of the US, the N word is full of slights and ambiguities at times its used as a term of endearment or simply a referencing tool for an individual you don't personally know. Angels rants using the "N" word were immediately followed up with some sort of descriptive insult or curse word which in your world can be compared to you calling out someone by saying "look at this dude he's an idiot" with dude being equating to the "N" word. Hip hop historians and certain hip hop legends have mentioned the fact that the word was often used to water down the strength of its impact with the over usage and multifaceted definitions. Not sure where your located in Florida but plenty of Argentinians use the word "boludo" which can mean someone with big b@lls, moron, mindless caveman or jerk off yet you'll find a father referencing his son with the word. Its a culturally specific paradox that can easily be misconstrued if your not around it and have not experienced it.

In a nutshell the comparison you're making is in accurate....just giving you my constructive rebuttal. I for one hate the term race anyway since its true foundation separates humans based on genetic code when in fact we share 99.9% of the same DNA minus our socio-ethnic differences and physical traits that are derived from generations of breeding in close proximity of other humans within a particular region of the world. Still identification is important and categorizing humans is very relevant and necessary for many clinical reasons. I don't want to go off on a tangent but you catch my drift......

Puerto Ricans can be White, Black or Indigenous Amerindian(Taino) or a mix involving any of the 3... There's also been smaller amounts of Middle Eastern, East-Asian and even Jewish immigration.

I'm in K'zoo now about forty miles from where your favorite boxer, Mayweather came up. I've been here about thirty years and have been following Mayweather since he was about thirteen. I get down to Detroit for the Jazz Festival and for Chadsey's annual Xmas party and that's about it. To be honest, although I was raised there, it doesn't feel much like home anymore. I came of age in Detroit in the 60's when Motown records was kicking and everyone who wanted to work could get a job in the auto factories. Crime wasn't that bad and you didn't have to worry about getting shot if you stepped on some kid's foot. Completely different place now.

Its not the easiest concept to understand but RingKing isnt trolling at all....again I think you gentlemen are still not absorbing the fact that the "N" word holds a different value outside of your immediate circles.
