Manny isnt even going to return until 2016

Theres zero reason anyone who want to fight Manny shouldnt be taking the best fights they can in the meantime.

The bottom line, is Manny and Floyd will probably rematch because...$$$$$. But thats not set in stone. Anyone who wants the Manny fight should probably be trying to get it by grabbing fans attention with big wins.

I doubt going the Khan route will work. Plus to get Arum and Haymon to work together, it needs to be kinda a big deal for PPV. If Manny takes a random guy, its going to be one on friendly terms with TR. Arum is not going to make a PPV fight with a Haymon guy unless he thinks it will net him significantly more money than the other options.

This means that regardless of what anyone's opinion on Garcia or his total resume is, if he wants the Manny fight he is going to need to do things that build demand for the fight.

Considering his "wins" he should probably be pretty high P4P but considering his "gift" decisions and limited ability, I doubt he'll get universally recognized. Based on accomplishments he could arguably be higher than Golovkin or maybe even Crawford, but I believe in the long run they'll surpass him.

He beat up and knocked down a rejuvenated Judah, the same Judah of old who knocked out Cory Spinks. I haven't seen Judah look that good in a looonnnggg time, Angel's smack talking clearly allowed Judah to reach his true level.

He beat Peterson, aka Khan's step daddy based on a round by round basis. It's as simple as that.

The Morales wins were ATG wins. Morales was rejuvenated as ****, and should of had a W against a prime Maidana before, beating him with one eye. We all know what a rejuvenated, non weight drained Morales is capable of.

That win has to be one of the most underrated in decades.

Since defeating the boogeyman at 140, he went on to fight boxers he had a stylistic disadvantage over simply to prove himself. He overcame adversity many times, the kid is a winner. He passed the test, now it's time for him to get highlight reel KO wins over the best.

He's in a perfect position right now. He has the age to wait for Mayweather to get old before knocking him out. He beats Pac right now. Nothing is stopping him now.. :yep

Bumluvkin doesn't hold a candle to Danny Boy. Danny Boy cleaned out his division and fought champions, ATG's and top contenders. Bummy has never done any of that.

The only gift he got was vs Herrera, a fight in which he was still recovering from the Matthyse fight. He underestimated Herrera, wasn't fully healed, weight drained, and had a stylistic disadvantage and still managed to eek out a win.

    That's impressive as ****.

Not big on Garcia but he gained my respect with the Matthysse fight which imo he dominated.

The Hererra fight was debatable but every fighter in history has had at least 1 fight that is debatable. Overall his resume is one of the best in the sport beat every top fighter in his division and did it beating established Champs and proven elite quality fighters.

People will hate on proven guys like they've done nothing, and big up these hypejobs who fight cans every fight it's crazy.

I don't hate Danny, he's very solid boxer, but he'll never reach a certain level, but he seems very down to earth and likable, it's his idiot father who makes him look bad and makes the casual fans hate him

He'd be the worst fighter to ever sniff the top 5 P4P.

Cherry Garcia is no way, shape, or form top 10, let alone top 5 material.

I hope he's next to fight Pacman, because he'll finally lose a fight the judges can't save him in.

I would rank Garcia in the bottom of the top ten on the pound for pound list.

    Of course it was.

It certainly was a much better win than Pac-Morales 2 and 3 where Morales was severely weight drained and body bruised and damaged from all of his wars.

After retiring for a while and rejuvenating his body, he want on a legendary tirade, beating a prime young Maidana with one eye and capturing the JWW WBC strap not long after. :yep
