I won a good few rupees on Marquez in the fourth fight, and if I'm the only person in the world who picked him,I'd like to know why the odds were fairly short!

 

Garcia will stop Matthysse if not Swift will win by UD! I guarantee it!

 

Garcia's equalizer in this fight is the left hook. I want to see what happens when Danny times Mattysse and cracks him on the Chin with a flush left hook. This fight is going to come down to who has the better Chin.

 

I can see Garcia winning this one myself, but at the same I feel he'll have to show something he hasn't shown us before. Garcia has the size and height advantage, which may give him a left hook counter opportunity if Mattysse leads with a hook. Either way though I don't see this going the distance. God the anticipation of both fights is killing me.

 

I can't remember exact figures, but one thing that people are forgetting that Lucas has one of the highest rates of power punches landed in boxing,whilst Garcia is amongst the lowest.

Accuracy is going to be a big factor here,and Danny can be a bit wild with his punches against fighters who can move,whilst Lucas can make almost every punch look like a real sickener at times.
I'm happy to be corrected,but I think Lucas has the sixth or seventh highest percentage landed in the whole of boxing, whilst Danny is about the seventh lowest.
This is why I think the improvements in Lucas' movement in the last couple years means that Garcia's only chance is if Lucas wants to go down the macho route,which wouldn't be smart,whilst Lucas has shown that he can catch up with fighters who move in the last couple years after struggling before.
Accuracy and movement means it's Lucas' fight to lose for me.

are you serious with that comment? lol Judah beat Matthysse bro! Judah did much better vs Matthysse than he did vs Garcia, what a terrible example. Judah won 7 rounds vs Matthysse, he won 4 tops vs Danny. Lucas also didn't look good vs Alexander although he did deserve the win it was a close fight.

All Matthysse has worth talking about is the KO over Peterson who is Khan's equal as proven in their fight and Garcia holds a KO over over Khan so in reality the Peterson KO doesn't do anything to say Matthysse is better in any way at all. Garcia has the better resume with a win over Judah, a win over Holt, a win over Khan and 2 over old man Morales vs Matthysse's win over Peterson and old man Corley.......Matthysse fought nothing but bums like Ajose who everyone overrated til Lundy whupped him easier than Lucas and Mike Dallas

 

Got to agree, it's insane how underrated Garcia is in my opinion. I expect him to take this by stoppage or decision.

 

Garcia will be chased out of the ring or counted out....
