So if I think Khan will win, am I being dishonest? :think

I agree. I think the idea people are all too quick to entertain is that Khan has a glass chin, it simply is not the case. There is a big difference between being defensively flawed and having a glass chin, Khan having a bad case of the former. The guy has only ever been put down by bombs and even then, he's come back and shown remarkable resilience to fight on. I pick Garcia to win on points because to avoid a repeat of the KO, Khan would attempt to box differently to the way in which brought him success in his early career, specifically, more cautiously, which would highlight the more cleaner shots landed by Garcia over the course of 12 rounds.

A glass chin would meant he wouldn't have survived the overhand right he ate from Maidana in the 10th, or gotten up after the Garcia KD.

i dont believe khan deserves an imediate rematch as it wasnt like it was a close decision it was an early ko,

if the fight was to happen khan would not take him lightly this time and would i believe stay on the outside and be defensivly better not perfect but certainly better

At the end of the day , what has Khan ever done? Nothing. He has achieved nothing great. That's a fact.

Came back from a devastating 58 second KO to win a world title and beat Kotelnyk, Judah, Maidana, Malignaggi and he lost a disputed decision against Peterson.
    Those are all good/decent wins.

Average wins at best. He got past Maidana by the skin of his teeth. Like I said- he acheived nothing great.

    Nothing great. what'd you expect?

    Very few achieve greatness

    ****... Who has?

Maybe if Bradley accepted to fight Khan either of them two could have been regarded much greater than they currently are.

Instead we have Bradley bieng mr.mediocre
    Khan mr.underachiever
    Peterson mr.Ped user
    Garcia as mr.BoringLetsSeeWhatHeCanAchieve

We are still a few years off placing where all these next generation boxers (aged 23-26) are going to be placed/ranked

The old greats - Marquez,Morales,Pacquiao,Mayweather etc are on their way out. and when they leave then we can make judgement.

Khan would approach this fight cautious, scared and afraid to exchange. He could possibly win by fighting in spurts while on the retreat, but it would be a stinker and I doubt he could do it for the duration of the bout. And with his horrible defense while backing up, he'd more than likely get clipped along the way.

The fact that Garcia punches with his opponent is a gift that most fighters don't have. It will always spell disaster for someone who fights like Khan.

Many tag Khan with greatness. He's got some skills , but not a complete boxer. His status is based on hype.

No, at first you said he had done nothing. Well he has done something. I wasn't claiming that he had achieved something great.
Fact is that he won a world title, got some decent wins and made millions.

I think too many people have a scaithed view on this due to what happend last month, the beauty of Khan fights is we really don't know what the hell is gonna happen, i'd fancy Amir to do the business in a rematch by coming in much more prepared and doing what he did in the pre Maidana fights by using his brain and speed and boxing....we can hope

Khan will get annihilated and be reborn in that ring again as a baby giraffe like he was the first time. Danny will most certainly land that left hook on Khan if they ever fight again and we know its lights out when that happens..
I say this with gritted teeth because Khan has all the talent in the world but is being left to **** because of whats between his ears. and no, i dont just mean his chin

It depends on whether you are or you aren't. You tell me.

Kind of a stupid question, don't you think? Should be pretty obvious that I was commending Divi523 specifically for his honesty in picking against someone he's known to root for (something rarely done on here) and not making a generalized conditional statement.

Or were you just being a muppet? :D

I don't rule out the possibility that Khan can speed his way out of danger for 12 rounds to win an "avenge the L today; look good next time" decision. I just think it's a stronger possibility he does get KTFO by one of those hooks.
