Really?? Why not? It's not a huge mismatch. It will give a boost toward the winner as far as earning power for their next fight. A chance for Cotto to have another undefeated fighter on his record and for Garcia to have another old future hof'er on his.

 

Cotto was quicker than Canelo, but he wasnt strong enough to keep him honest. He lost, 7-5 8-4.
Lara was also much quicker than Canelo, but he wasted a lot of energy running out of the corner rather than punching and moving from them. Lara lost, 7-5 or 6-5 or draw.

As for Cotto v Lara, yes, pickem for those reasons I mentioned.

Cotto won't have as much trouble catching up to Lara, while Lara won't be as nervous taking shots between his faster 1-2s, and even allowing him to risk throwing the lead R hand more often, which we SHOULD see this weekend if he is gonna beat Martirosyan. :thumbsup
