Benavidez Jr. didn't push Garcia enough for me, I would like for him to step up in competition next fight so we can really see if he has what it takes at 154. I think he should fight Lubin next. Who ya got? How do you see the fight playing out?
Danny has not yet actually fought a JMW yet. And he's supposed to be competitive with a top 15ish one? I wanna see him actually fight a JMW first. The Benavidez fight did not show how either would perform at the weight and I have my doubts.
Of course you would like him to step up his competition, he was supposed to that the first time, but you know this is Danny & it's Boxing.
Not sure, i was expecting Danny to knockout Redkach but he wasn't able too, Even though Danny stated he hired his best Strength Conditioner this time around & trained really hard for the fight so i figured that the Benavidez fight would offer a repeat & Voila!! Lubin has good defence along with faster footwork, though after his last fight who can say at this point.....
Yes, Lubin has been stopped twice. But keep in mind: He got caught with a beauty of shot by Charlo. Jermall is one of the biggest hitters at 154 lbs. Fundora didn't KO Lubin, the ref did not stop the fight and Lubin did not take a knee. His trainer threw in the towel after he realized that Lubin could pass for a Klingon from Star Trek. And Fundora is also one of the biggest hitters at 154 lbs. The guys that Garcia stopped at 147 lbs were no longer A-list. He's at 154 lbs strictly because he can now make a better living there since he's just not that exciting at 147 lbs. If Lubin is shot after all the damage he took during the Fundora fight - yeah, Danny could stop him. Otherwise, this is a very competitive fight and Lubin is more than capable of hitting Garcia with damaging shots.
Lubin beats the hell out of Garcia. Garcia will fight another blown up welter. He won’t fight any top 5 true 154 pounder.
